as with all Makerbase products, and really no exaggerations here, you get real value for your money and they are cheaper than others; I ordered this display for my old old Makerbase MKS LTS 1.1 motherboard, and even tho this is indeed a very old board MKS35-R V2.0 works with it like a charm. The display was around 12 dollars and the board I think maybe the same, but what is extremely bice is that the motherboard has ESP32-WROOM-32U running it, and the U version is the one that has a U.FL connector, so with a short pigtail cable you can connect it to a high-gain antenna, or an amplifier and then antenna etc. I mention this because the radio part is exposed up to a point where you can work with antennas, so the device that you are controlling (an engraving laser in my case) can actually be remote and there are at least 2 firmwares that can receive gcode via wifi (marlin/octoprint, grbl_esp32); Oh, and the display shows all the info. I highly recommend this and other Makerbase stuff
