I used these inkjet printhead cleaning foams off-label, and they worked quite well. The sponge did soften a little with the solvent I was using, like acetone, but the foams were still easy and convenient to use. Even under the harsh acetone, the product held together, though the sponge softened up. Overall, they are effective for cleaning and durable enough for the job.

I use these for cleaning circuit boards and small electronics, specifically for soldering. There’s no cotton strands getting caught which is a big plus! These are smooth and absorbent so put some isopropyl on it and clean away!
